Mark your calendar for an evening of fun and purpose! On May 9, the Roland-Story PTO will host its biennial Gala Fundraiser at The Rustic Rose Barn in Roland. This adults-only event will feature “fund-a-need” opportunities, live and silent auctions, and community games—all in support of our students and staff.

Funds raised help make possible:
✅ Field trips and educational programs
✅ Teacher appreciation and staff recognition
✅ The Mileage Club, Middle School Dance, Little Norse Relays, and more

Don't forget! Roland-Story is launching Community Conversations—a new opportunity for open dialogue between the School Board and our community! 

Starting February 9, these 30-minute sessions will be held at 5:00pm before regular board meetings. They will take place four times a year at Roland-Story High School. 

These informal sessions are designed to listen, connect, and strengthen relationships between the district, families, and community members. Two board members and Superintendent Johnson will be present at each gathering to hear your questions, ideas, and priorities.

The updated board meeting start time will be 5:30pm beginning in January 2026 to make room for these conversations.

Community Conversations will take place on:

➡️ February 9, 2026

➡️ May 11, 2026

➡️ August 10, 2026

➡️ November 9, 2026
