Fall Community Cleanup was held today. The groups worked hard around Roland and Story City. #SailNorse

We can make a difference! Starting on Wednesday, Nov. 12th and going through Wednesday, November 19th, RSHS students will be collecting items for our local food pantries, Loaves and Fishes in Story City and the Norseman Food Pantry in Roland. The grade level with the most items donated by Wednesday, Nov. 19th will receive donuts at lunch provided by Kwik Star! Be sure to check the expiration dates~ items need to be good through the first of the year! Community members can help PACK THE VAN by bringing items to the RS/Gilbert games on Nov. 21st! #SailNorse

Calling All Community Members, Business Professionals, and Alumni!

Roland-Story High School is excited to host a Career Expo on Wednesday, April 22nd, and we’re looking for volunteers to share their career stories!

This event is a great opportunity to inspire students by talking about your career journey, daily work, and what you’ve learned along the way.

Event Details:
Format: Panel-style classroom sessions with 2–3 speakers and a teacher moderator
Sessions: 5-6 sessions, 35 minutes each, 10–25 students per session
Speaker Role: Share a short overview (2–5 minutes) and answer student questions
Date/Time: Wednesday, April 22nd, 8:00 AM–1:10 PM (lunch included)

We’d especially love to have RSHS alumni join us and give students a look at where their paths could lead after high school.

We had almost 200 kids come out to play games, participate in activities, and enjoy all the fall fun — what a day! 🎃

Roland-Story High School members attended the Iowa Association of Student Councils State Leadership Conference in Ames yesterday and today. Seniors Maddie Berggren, Brinley Carlson, Alli Janes, and Keely Oberender also presented two breakout sessions during the conference!
