Sports registration for all 2024-2025 athletic teams for grades 7-12 is now open! You may log into your Bound Family Account and register your child for all of the athletic teams they plan to be a part of: https://manager.gobound.com/registration/ia/school/rolandstory/family. If you are unsure it's best to err on the side of registering so that you can receive pre-season information from coaches through Bound Messenger leading up to the season. Physicals in the system that are still valid have been rolled over to the 2024-2025 school year. Call 515-733-4301 if you need assistance.
Our office summer hours are 8am-4pm. The high school office is undergoing a remodel this summer, so the temporary office is located in the conference room, just north of the district office. Please enter the building using the east district office doors.
Registration mailings for the 2024-2025 school year go out to families mid-July. Once those are received families may register in our new JMC system. For those needing assistance, there will be walk-in registration on August 13, 2024 from 4-6pm in the HS Commons.
New to the district? New student day is August 13th! Starting August 5th, you can call and schedule an in-person appointment for you and your child for August 13th.
Are you in need of school supplies, or would you like to donate supplies to help our community? Visit www.blastbacktoschool.org if you would like to donate to Blast Back to School, register for a backpack, volunteer to help at a Blast event, or get information on the backpack pickup event for Roland-Story (August 14th!).

At Roland-Story, we believe in focusing on the journey, not the destination. Our students and staff have been sharing their thoughts about the Roland-Story journey through Student Experience videos. Enjoy this video (link below) featuring some of our High School students.

On Monday, our student council attended the Iowa Student Leadership Conference put on by the Iowa Association of Student Councils. They were able to attend breakout sessions throughout the morning on different topics about leadership, career paths, and activities to bring back to our school.
Rylee Wolff is currently the IASC President-Elect. Next year, she will be planning this event for all student councils across the state to attend. This is a huge accomplishment and we are SO proud of all her hard and dedication.

Thank you to all who attended The Haunted High School on Saturday night! Our National Honor Society students did such an awesome job putting this together and making it another successful year.
