Mr. Formanek brings a strong background in school leadership, most recently serving as a middle school principal in the Le Mars Community School District since 2023. He previously served as associate principal at Le Mars Community High School, where he supported building leadership, student discipline, attendance systems, and instructional improvement.

Our high school serves approximately 346 students in 9th-12th grade and recently earned a High Performing rating on the Iowa School Performance Profiles, along with a 100% graduation rate! 🎓
This leadership opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $120,000-$130,000, along with flexible benefit options, and the chance to serve a vibrant community located just north of Ames and Des Moines.
The position is scheduled to begin July 1, 2026, with flexibility as needed.
Candidates should hold Iowa Principal licensure, evaluator approval certification, and have successful teaching experience at the secondary level. Administrative experience is preferred but not required.
