Roland-Story Elementary students once again participated in Mileage Club this year, sponsored by the Mary Greeley Foundation! Mileage Club is an eight-week walking and running program for central Iowa elementary students, coordinated by the Diabetes and Nutrition Education Center at Mary Greeley Medical Center. In addition to encouraging exercise and healthy habits, the program also includes nutrition and hydration education.
