Please remember that posted route pick up/drop off times are estimated.

Remember buses do not have time to wait at each stop, so please be ready early to avoid delays. Weather and road conditions will affect travel times, so please be patient during inclement weather.

It may take awhile at the beginning of the year to get route pick up/drop off times adjusted. There are many exciting changes at the start of the school year, including families deciding to have their students added to the bus routes after school has started. The first day of preschool begins a week after K-12, so times may fluctuate with those preschool busing additions as well.

You must check with your driver in advance to see if there are seats available before having guests ride with your child. Thank you!

Elementary Drop Off/Pick Up Traffic Flow

We are looking for a volunteer to ride along with the driver on the mid-day route.  If interested in volunteering contact Jeff Wellik at 515-708-1494.

Shuttle Bus Times - the shuttle bus service is a free service, to transport students who live in Roland to Story City for elementary or high school, and from Story City to Roland for middle school. Parents are responsible for getting their students to either the elementary, middle school or high school in the mornings for this service. It is not necessary for parents to let Jeff know if their student will not be utilizing the shuttle bus on any given day.
