On Tuesday, September 8, the Roland-Story School District will be asking the community to extend the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) for another 10 years. PPEL is a critical funding source for the school and has been supported by local residents for nearly 40 years. A “yes” vote would simply continue the amount of funds the district is currently receiving and will not increase the tax rate for community members.
