The school day begins at 8:15 am and is completed at 3:30 pm. Wednesday dismissal is at 1:45 pm. For a more detailed bell schedule please click the button below.

If your child will be coming in late, leaving early, or will have other changes to their attendance please notify the office by phone or email at: hsattendance@roland-story.k12.ia.us

Each student at Roland-Story High School is required to have health records on file. To participate in sports, each athlete is required to have a completed sports physical on their Bound profile. If you have questions regarding what health records the school needs, please don't hesitate to reach out to our school nurses. There are many providers in the area who complete sports physicals and these can be completed during a normal well child exam. Your providers office will have the paperwork and information to help you with this process.

If you would like to be added to the email list for the daily bulletin please follow the directions on the link below. This bulletin includes activity information, community-related events, and the daily lunch menu.

Our athletics department uses Bound to manage and organize student-athlete information such as release forms and sports physicals. If your child is participating in high school sports please complete their forms before the season starts. If you know your child will be playing more than one sport, you can register for all the sports at the beginning of the year. If you have any problems with Bound, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office!
